I am often asked how the Salt Me! Nasal Aroma Inhaler is better than the other well-known brand that can be purchased over the counter. You know the one. Well, what makes our inhaler better is the ingredients.
Before I tell you more about the ingredients, let me briefly tell you why I created the inhaler. I am a sinus and nose specialist, so I see a lot of patients with allergies and sinusitis. A common problem they have is difficulty breathing through the nose. When your nose is stuffy, it makes you feel miserable. It can also cause a runny nose, drainage to collect in your throat, dryness in your nose causing pain, sinus pressure and headaches. Who wants to feel like that? No one! What does that other non-medicated nasal inhaler have in it? Menthol. I purposefully chose not to add menthol in our inhaler but instead, use whole aromatics. Menthol is strong so it does hit you hard. It causes a cooling sensation and tricks your brain into thinking that you are breathing better. It doesn’t actually decongest your nose. Our proprietary blend of essential oils also gives our inhalers a pleasant scent customized to make its therapeutic benefits more pleasing.
